At Hostelworld, we ensure that you’re always getting the best value for money; so your money goes further on your travels.

That’s why, if you find a booking cheaper on any other website, we’ll refund you the difference.

  • You must claim within 24 hours of the booking being made on Hostelworld.com
  • The deal must be available online at time of claim for us to verify
  • The other deal must be an exact match on room type, dates and add-ons
  • It must be a standalone booking and not part of any package or loyalty discount

Terms and conditions

  1. You must claim within 24 hours of the booking being made on Hostelworld.com.
  2. Claims must be made to our customer service team using our Best Price Guarantee Claim Form
  3. The other deal must be bookable online at the time of claim and available for us to verify.
  4. The price of the other deal must be in the property’s currency as displayed on your confirmation email.
  5. The other deal must be an exact itinerary match. It must be the same:
    • Property
    • Room type
    • Dates
    • Room conditions (meal plan, cancellation policy, package offer etc.)
  6. The other deal must be a standalone booking, properties booked as package are not eligible.
  7. You may not claim for:
    • Blind bookings (these are bookings made where you only find out details of the property after you’ve paid)
    • Membership / Loyalty rates
    • Rewards programmes or;
    • Special promotions
  8. Our Best Price Guarantee offer does not extend to our offline (group) bookings.
  9. We will refund you the difference of the total transaction value as appearing in the property’s currency on your confirmation email.
  10. Your claim will only be processed after you have checked out of the property and we have verified your stay with the property.
  11. We will refund the cash in the form of a bank transfer.
  12. We will refund you in the same currency as your chosen settlement currency and the exchange rate will be based on the exchange rate available on the day of the refund.
  13. Refunds may take up to 14 days post checkout of the property to be processed.
  14. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue price guarantee at any time.
